Check the voltage of the sucker and look around your house. I got chargers all over this place that I use for other things than what they're designed for o_O IE: Playstation 1 power cords make good speaker power cords.

hehehe i don't think i have any 5.2V cords, specially with a rectangle looking connector. everything i can find have the circle connector.

If you have a GBA or an SP, then those chargers work just fine in them.

It should be like that. I'm not sure but try the GBA SP charger and see if it works

EDIT: you have to buy the DS encoded PSU, otherwise the DS may malfunction

lol or you could just make your own power cable from scratch and experiment, just make sure you wear anti-electric gloves and other neccessary safety equipment
